What You Need to Become a Gymshare Gym
You don't need a commercial gym. You do need a safe, private, well-equipped space.

Still building your gym? That's okay, too. We'll help you understand what you need to get Gymshare-ready.
✓ A Separate Outside Entrance
Your gym must have its own access from outside so members can enter the workout space without entering the private living areas of your home.
✓ Security Camera
Your gym must have—or you must be willing to install—a security camera to help keep both owners and members safe.
✓ Coded Lock System
Your gym must have—or you must be willing to install—a coded lock system that allows secure member access.
✓ Insurance & Security
Gym owners must be willing to maintain liability insurance and follow Gymshare's security protocols.
✓ Strength Equipment
Your gym needs some form of strength-training equipment, such as:

Bench press

Squat rack

Other strength-training equipment
✓ Cardio Equipment
You'll also need at least one cardio option, such as:

Treadmill

Stationary bike

Peloton

Other cardio equipment
Safety Comes First
Every Gymshare owner is also required to complete:
Background Check
Gym owners must successfully complete a background check as a proactive safety measure for Gymshare members, owners, and associates.
Virtual Gym & Security Inspection
Your gym and security setup will be inspected to ensure equipment and access meet Gymshare's safety requirements.
